Educational Program Development and Facilitation

“Educational Program Development and Facilitation” is a short-term volunteering project aiming to engage young people in the creation and delivery of meaningful educational activities. Hosted by Stairs and Levels Associação, this ESC project takes place from 1st to 18th October 2025 and focuses on non-formal education, youth empowerment, and community engagement.

Volunteers will take part in developing learning content, leading workshops, and supporting local educational initiatives. The project also places strong emphasis on digital innovation, social inclusion, and intercultural understanding.

OBJECTIVES:

● Develop educational content and facilitate engaging sessions for local youth and communities;

● Promote social inclusion and intercultural dialogue through creative and participatory methods;

● Build digital skills related to education (e.g., digital tools, content creation, facilitation techniques);

● Strengthen youth work practices by exploring innovative teaching methods and community engagement strategies;

● Foster personal growth, cultural sensitivity, and professional development among volunteers.

Volunteers will gain experience in curriculum design, mentoring, project management, and public speaking—while enjoying the historic charm of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
