ESC Long-Term Volunteering Opportunity in Italy
WE ARE LOOKING FOR 4 YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 18-30!
Where: Salento, Italy
When: March – September 2026 (6 months)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
EDUCATIONAL AREA (WORK WITH MINORS, MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES)
Volunteers support educators during educational and recreational activities with children and teenagers, including:
- Doposcuola (after-school activities): homework support, games, creative and intercultural workshops
- Summer Camp and Winter Camp activities
- Specific workshops with children, depending on ongoing projects (art, games, intercultural activities, sports, etc.)
Volunteers may take part in activities aimed at adult learners, such as:
- Italian language courses: supporting educators during lessons and learning the language at the same time
- Participation in intercultural activities and workshops with migrants, refugees and community.
COMMUNICATION AREA
Volunteers can support the communication team through:
- Managing and creating content for social media
- Designing posters and flyers
- Editing photos and videos related to activities and events
- Support in the promotion and dissemination activities locally
PROJECT AREA
Volunteers support the team in the implementation of local and international projects, including:
- Participation in festivals, events, workshops, and community markets
- Support in the organisation and coordination of activities
- Involvement in Erasmus+ and ESC projects, including basic logistics and project-related tasks
- Space to propose and develop your own ideas and initiatives
AND OTHER
Volunteers may also assist with:
- Practical support during events and activities
- Helping with preparation, materials, and general organisation needs
WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for:
- Volunteers aged 18–30
- Motivated, open-minded, and proactive people
- Volunteers who can commit to the project for 6 months
- People who are flexible and open to adapting to a new environment and lifestyle
Volunteers interested in at least one of the following areas:
- Educational area – working with children and young people
- Communication area – social media, graphic design, content creation
- Project management area – support Erasmus+ projects
Skills that are appreciated (but not mandatory):
- Basic knowledge of Italian
- Digital and communication skills
- Driving licence
WHAT WE OFFER:
Monthly food allowance: 170 € per month
Pocket money: 180 € per month
Accommodation in a shared flat together with other volunteers
Travel reimbursement (based on EU distance calculator)
