Digital Green

This project is a continuation of a small-scale collaboration on the topic of environmental protection in the field of international mobilities, and how we can make our projects more environmentally friendly. The next step we want to take with this project is to identify new and innovative digital tools that youth workers can use when dealing with sustainability and the environment.

During the 24 months, we will carry out activities both using digital online tools and residential activities at local and international level: We will develop 2 online courses, a residential training for youth workers, teachers, staff members of organisations, local workshops with young people aged 14-18, local consultations with community actors and a final international conference on the topic of digital youth work and sustainability. Project outcomes 2 MOOCs on the topics of digital youth work and on sustainability and environment that will be open, free and accessible after the end of the project, empowering youth workers to apply digital tools with young people and policy recommendations that will also contribute to strengthen collaborations between communities, stakeholders, policy makers and companies or companies working with youth.

Kick-Off Meeting , Trnava ,Slovakia

The primary objective of the kick-off meeting was to establish a clear and unified understanding of the project’s goals, expected outcomes, and timeline among all participants. This included presenting a comprehensive overview of the project, ensuring alignment of vision across all partner organizations, and finalizing the schedule for key activities such as the development of online courses, residential training sessions, local workshops, and the international conference. A crucial aspect of the meeting was defining the roles and responsibilities of each partner, ensuring that all organizations were prepared for smooth and effective project implementation.Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to begin exploring innovative digital tools that could enhance sustainability in youth work. Participants collaborated to identify key tools to be integrated into the project. The meeting also focused on fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging ongoing communication, and addressing any logistical concerns related to upcoming activities. By the end of the meeting, partners had a clear roadmap for the next steps, including the timeline for future meetings, reporting requirements, and strategies to tackle potential challenges.
