From 20-23 January 2026, 4 participants had the opportunity to take part in an erasmus+ project “Digital green” in the Republic of North Macedonia. Project combined topics of environmental awareness with modern AI technology. The main theme of the first session was greenwashing. Thanks to the interactive workshops and quizzes, we learned how to recognise misleading marketing and how to think more critically about as customers when we are buying eco-friendly products.
Another exciting part of the project was exploring AI tools and learning how they can be used responsibly and creatively. A big highlight was creating our own augmented reality posters, that came to life through digital overlays, to expand the awareness about environmental mindfulness. As well as, we had an opportunity to undertake two MOOC courses about digitalisation of youth and sustainable futures. Beyond those interesting workshops, we also helped prepare for a final event where Spanish, Slovak, French and Macedonian ngos presented the whole two-years lasting project.
Overall, the project didn’t only educate us but it has shown us that young people can use creativity and technology to make a real impact in fields of sustainability and many more.
