European Mobility Week in Trnava
:
From September 10th to October 2nd, we had the pleasure of hosting incredible ESC 10 volunteers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Belgium, and Slovakia. These amazing individuals played a pivotal role in preparing for the annual European Mobility Week event.
European Mobility Week is an annual event that promotes sustainable transportation and mobility in cities across Europe.
Let’s take a closer look at their fantastic contributions:
They had a unique opportunity to deliver newspapers for locals using bicycles, showcasing the eco-friendly and community-oriented aspects of sustainable mobility.
Apart from their significant contributions to European Mobility Week, they joined the global movement on World Cleanup Day, leaving our city even cleaner.
While visiting FCC Trnava, they explored sustainable waste management practices, learning how we can make our city cleaner.
The future of sustainable living was unveiled when they visited the innovative Ecocapsule, gaining insights into eco-friendly housing and sustainable living.
A tour of the power plant at Jaslovske Bohunice offered a behind-the-scenes look at how our city’s energy is generated and the sustainable solutions driving our future.
They also took time to inspire and educate the next generation by conducting engaging workshops in our local schools.
The ESC volunteers went above and beyond, proving that European Mobility Week is not just about transportation but also about creating a cleaner, more sustainable future for our city and the world.
Thanks to these incredible volunteers.
